I'm totally disgusted with the ethics of this company. I received a fair estimate from James on the job I had (parts at retail value and labor at $65.00/hr totaling around $600.00 give or take time) and after not finding any bad reviews I agreed to have them come out and do the job. When the employee arrived he saw that he didn't have all the parts he needed and went out to get the part. When he came back he showed up with another guy who had his family with him so they could play in the yard as they worked and they decided at that time to tell me, before knowing what I had been quoted, that it was going to be much higher then they anticipated because of this one part. (the part was $40.00 their "retail value") but somehow that added $250 to the estimate. They weren't even good at hiding that they were trying to pull the bait and switch. When I looked over the bill I wanted to see why it was so much more than originally planned. I immediately saw that they were charging 30% more then "retail value" on all parts. This is a big deal when one part is $222.79 retail at sprinkler world (where they got the part) but are charging $328.00 for it. When confronted they dropped the price of that one item but left the rest still charging $150.00 more than agreed upon for parts. What they didn't know is that I had a price sheet of those parts from the retailer they bought them from because I did my homework. So when the employee tried to recover from being caught he told me that the owner marks up the price of the parts and "figures the average homeowner won't notice" He also tried to state that its to cover the time running around picking up the parts and shopping for them. But why then did the employee try to bill me for the shopping time to pick up the parts under labor too? I'm truly sick of companies like this that are more focused on sizing the situation up to see how much they can rack up rather than being honest and up front about their service. I would not recommend using this company and if you do question everything. I just hope over charging me was worth the negative review and lost business to them. What they also don't know is that I am part of a large property management company and will not be recommending their services to our 14,000 tenants. The cost of dishonesty....

PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE PREVIOUS REVIEW I MADE! THESE GUYS ARE GREAT - THEY ARE THE ONLY COMPANY AROUND THAT SPECIALIZE IN SPRINKLER REPAIR. Have had several "landscapers, etc" over the last several years but Your Gardening Angels really do know how to fix sprinklers better than anyone else.

ShcHeduled sprinkler repair 10 days out. Waited all day for them to show. Never came. Old man making appointments didn't write down correct info. Never Called. DON'T EVER CALL THESE GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had the privilege of working with James and he has been very pleasant to work with. I find the review above to be shocking and wonder what the circumstances of the situation were. If it is a nice guy you want to work with who ALSO does quality work, I recommend James and Your Gardening Angels.
