The rooms are spacious, plenty of closet and storage space. You're even given additional storage outside your apartment. You are allotted two parking spaces per unit, with additional parking if needed for visitors. The rent is reasonable. Unfortunately, the main problems begins with the staff, particularly maintenance. For some reason or another maintenance tend to think that your apartment is there personal shopping mall. Several times maintenance entered my apartment unannounced and stole several of my belongings. It's obvious that they watch your comings and goings and take it upon themselves to take whatever they want when your out. The same goes for your outside storage unit. Nothing is off limits to them. It's never a lot at once, it doesn't have to be; as long as they they have access to the keys to your place they could come and go at will. Don't bother trying to complain about it because no one will believe you. You're basically called a liar. Then the ridicule begins. The sucking of teeth and the rolling of eyes. It's really sad because you feel victimized all over again. I really like my apartment but I don't feel safe in it. Knowing that maintenance can come in anytime they like when I'm out is unnerving. I hate going in the the leasing office now and avoid doing so much as possible. Even some of my simple requests are ignored. I've had the same filter for almost ten years. All maintenance would do is run water over it and put that same filthy mess back on the unit. It's disgusting. No new carpet either. This is my home. I pay my rent on time everytime. I'm quiet, mind my business and park in my own parking space. I just want new carpets, a new filter, a paint job, new kitchen tiles, my kitchen counters painted, along with a few other basic repairs and most importantly my apartment not to be broken into by maintenance. I feel violated. There is no one to turn to as management is not willing to listen. I can't afford to move and I shouldn't have too.
