Picked up a new mattress and as I left They took down my license plate # and called the police on me because they thought I smelled like marijuana, (I did not). I May have long hair and a beard but last time I checked that doesn’t make you smell like weed. I had a county sheriff pull in my driveway pretty much right behind me after leaving slumberland. ( maybe 1.5 miles, 7 minutes tops). Amazing response time for a rural police department, people get raped and wait longer for help. Never thought I’d be subject to a search of my person on my own property lol but hey I’m all for cooperating with police that are just trying to do their job, so after his search turned up nothing he left and that was that. Really not the “shop local” experience I was looking for, I wish people would just confront one another when they have a problem. This was a waste of the officers time and taxpayers money. He who appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward, he who cannot take care of himself without that law is both.
