I just ate there today and was very unsatisfied. First of all I ordered take out on the lunch special, and asked for hot & sour soup, I was told per their policy since it is take out, soup doesn't come with the lunch special. I wanted soup so I ordered that separately for $1.90 extra. The soup wasn't even worth it, wasn't tasty at all, and my food was not very good either, I ordered sweet n sour chicken, it came with a very small container of sweet and sour sauce, I would have needed like 3 X's the amount they gave me. It did come with an egg roll though, which wasn't good either I didn't eat that at all. I suggest skip the Chinese in Ames and head to Des Moines Lots of delicious restaurants to choose there!
