While my interactions with Mark have been friendly and professional, I find the service to be lacking. I average over 60 hours per work week. When asked to come in to "review my policies," I thought it was a nice idea but an unnecessary task, as nothing had changed in my life to impact my policies. After insistence from the Mark Doyle office, I agreed to arrange the meeting.

At the meeting, my policies were indeed reviewed. Mark assured me that he would get me the most coverage for what I was paying (renters insurance has a minimum yearly fee). That was a considerate thing for him to do. However, in adjusting the renters insurance, he unknowingly increased my policy above the minimum fee. I found this out later when I received a bill for the balance due (I had already paid the year coverage in full months earlier).

Trying to rectify this situation has been difficult to say the least. After speaking to Ally on the phone, I have been told that my coverage has been adjusted back to the amount I had paid for, but I am still responsible for some amount of the recent unfounded bill. She said that she would not know how much until she spoke with a different department, and I would find out in anywhere from 4 to 45 days. That bears repeating: It may be 45 additional days before this is resolved. This is for a mistake made by Mark Doyle during a meeting I hadn't wanted in the first place. Needless to say, this has been a frustrating situation. When I have some spare time (more spare time than it takes to write a review online), I will look for insurance elsewhere.

We have had our insurance with Mark for over 10 years. Everytime we stop by the office, everyone greets us with a smile, a cold drink and they take the time to listen to me. Melanie handles our account and knows us by name everytime we come in. This is a great office and I would say to anyone looking for insurance to give them a call.
