Shriver is a terrible company to even sign a lease with. I regret every bit of it. They are hypocritical. They have told me I can not have pets yet one of their employees (office manger) had many dogs and cat. Also other tenants have been able to sign leases that allow THEM to have pets. Their apartments (including the "remodled" one that I am in) are terrible. Their paint is chipping off of the walls, the molding is not even attached properly to the walls and the thermostats are never working correctly. The floors are also ever uneven. They have terrible maintance that does not take care of anything. There is always a HUGE patch of ice infront of the doors and parking lot which makes it impossible to walk out to your car (which they do nothing about). The internet service (which is supposed to be paid for by the landlord) has no connection and when you try to ask them about it they tell you to call rent iowa and they tell you it is infact shriver who is not taking care of anything. At the south meadow apartments the courtyards are disgusting! they need new paint, to be raked and the grass is never mowed. I absoluting DO NOT reccomend living here. They may appear nice during your visit but it all goes down hill!
