I'm just going to get into the nitty-gritty: There are multiple "Groves" in the country, most of them in the South, which explains why the water heaters are not big enough and give the last person a cold shower, there is no pool heater, and the landscaping gets torn to shreds by Iowa winters. It's been up for years, but nobody has bothered to get the automoatic gates at the entry or the exit working yet. The management is simply awful; the people at the front desk are either incompetent or send you to talk to the head lady, who treats all tenants like they're children. We moved in and never got a check-in sheet for our room, and after noticing multiple things wrong with our room when we moved in she made it our fault because we didn't come to HER to get the check-in sheet. It shouldn't be our job to make sure they do their job. The walls are paper-thin and the quiet hours are meaningless, which means that if we are listening to our stereo at one in the afternoon we can get called in for a noise complaint, while our neighbors who called it in can throw parties on Thursday nights and not get in trouble at all. My advice to future residents: Invest in some earplugs and sleeping pills. I don't care if it's fully furnished or cheaper, the people that work here are the most inept workers I have ever had to deal with.
