Yossi Klement has served as Associate Principal Trumpet with the Jerusalem Symphony, Substitute Principal with the Israel Sinfonietta, Principal with the Jupiter Symphony at Lincoln Center, Principal with the New York Metamorphoses Orchestra and Principal with the Lyric Mountain Festival Orchestra, also performed with the Israel Philharmonic, the Berlin Ballet and many ballet and opera orchestras in New York and abroad. He appeared frequently in concert on television and radio and can be heard on recordings of the Israel Philharmonic and the Jerusalem Symphony, among other ensembles. He has performed under the batons of conductors such as Zubin Mehta, Lorin Maazel, Stanislaw Skrowacewski, Michael Tilson Thomas, Gerard Schwarz, Mendi Rodan, Sergiu Commissiona, Gary Bertini, Jens Nygaard, and may others. He was on the faculty of the Rubin Academy and Conservatory of Music, and taught at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and the Deerfield Academy. Many of his students have won regional, national and international competitions. and have gone on to successful performing careers
