Poor Customer Service

Ordered a camping knife for my son who is a Boy Scout for a Christmas gift on 12/09/10 and followed up with a telephone call the next day to make sure knife would be sent before Christmas and was ensured it would. Called again six days later to check on the status and was told it was backed-ordered or out-of-stock and it might not be sent in time for Christmas. Then got an email 12/18/10 stating the item would not be shipped in time for Christmas. Not like waiting to the last minute to notify a customer. I do not think they would have notified me at all unless I had telephoned / emailed customer service more than two times. I would not do business with the Swiss Knife Shop, again!
