We recently purchased a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited Ultimate from Andrew Ayler at Northtown Hyundai. There is no amount of praise that can truly signify my overall satisfaction from working with Andrew. My husband and I have personally purchased over 15 new and used vehicles in the last 15 to 20 years as well as helped countless friends and family with their purchases. To say we are the go to car people in our group is not an understatement. I was also a customer service manager before I was injured in an accident so I expect a certain level of service and Andrew did not disappoint. In all my years of car buying I can honestly say I have never dealt with someone who listened to and met our expectations as Andrew did. He paid attention to the little details in what was otherwise a humorous banter conversation between my husband and I and successfully provided a car that met my expectations as far as ride and options and my husband's for year, mileage and price. To be able to give both spouses exactly what they wanted without either having to make consessions is no little feat, as any couple married for over 20 years can attest to. All I can say is in the over 20+ years of car buying experiences I have had, I have never walked away completely satisfied until now. Andrew more than fulfilled his duties as our sales person. I will happily recommend him to anyone that asks.

Do not buy here, the trouble starts after the sale, once they got your money your screwed. Absolutely horrible service. The first time I brought my car in they tried to tell me the banging coming from the rear was because my car had a CVT transmission, well it does not, you would expect them to know this. The leather on my seats went from black to light grey due to wear after only 5000 miles. The first time they warrantied it, subsequent time while still under bumper to bumper they tried to weasel out of warrantying it. The latest issue is a check engine light (likely a camshaft position sensor or a faulty active valve control system) I asked them if these component were covered under the powertrain warranty and they said they don't know? How can you not know if a specific component is covered.

I spoke with the General Manager, Joe Hurley, he told me that it is necessary to diagnose the problem so they can send it to Subaru for Goodwill assistance. Our Service Manager, Kevin O'Neil works with you and all of our customers to try to satisfy all even in difficult situations. My understanding is once they were able to diagnosis the problem they have ordered the necessary parts and have been able to have it covered under warranty for you. Thank you again for sharing. The repair was good but their customer service was very bad. For example, as I was waiting for the Suttle van for an hour, I went back to ask them if it was normal that the van didn't show up, the intention just ignored me for a good 5 minutes before I decided to talk to me and find out that they had never called the van to pick me up. The management should check how these guys are so unprofessional with customers.

This car dealer should be avoided at all costs! My car has been VANDALIZED by their service department! They have broken my odometer screen, my cigarette lighter/electrical plug-in, left garbage in my car, left cigarettes in my engine compartment (Dorals, to be exact). They also refuse to honor warranties. My transmission went and when I tried to get it covered. Hyundai said it was due to negligence and refused (I went to them to have it maintained). When I went to a transmission specialist not affiliated with Hyundai, I was told that it was due to a faulty part that broke the case on the transmission. After speaking not only to Northtown, but also Hyundai corporate, I was told that because I went to another place, the warranty would not be honored. Their service shop gives you false information, tampers with your car and their corporate does not honor warranties! Do not buy from Northtown Hyundai/Subaru or Hyundai period! You will be ripped off!

All around bad experience. Save yourself some misery and buy elsewhere. My next vehicle won't be a Hyundai and it definitely won't be anything from Northtown.
