I took a very nice pointer puppy here in 2010 only for health certificate to send it to an out of state buyer. A lady that works there told my buyer on the phone that she did not think my puppy was a very good one because he seemed to be timid. I went back up to Anadarko Vet Hospital and asked her why she told my buyer this and how much does she know about fine pointing dogs and breeding them. She admitted she knew nothing at all. My buyer got himself all worked up after he did things we both had previously agreed one should not do with a young pup that just got shipped from Oklahoma to Pennsylvania on a commercial American Airlines flight. He basically tried to start training the young pup only an hour or two after getting him home with a dead pheasant. He cussed me out and called me "Southern trash" and said "all you Southerners are nothing but trash!" Only one year later my buyer in New Jersey that recommended me to him told me he loved the dog so much now that he decided to breed him he was so impressed with the royally bred male pointer I had sold to him. So I called the man to ask if this was true. He admitted it was all 100% true but still never apologized to me. The lady at Anadarko Vet only made the situation much worse by running her ignorant mouth to my buyer. Years later my co held some free vaccine clinics in our little town and I personally called and asked Anadarko Vet to participate and that they could promote their business all they liked at our big event. Instead of accepting my offer they had some professor from Oklahoma State University call me and tell me I should not be giving out free vaccines b/c that hurts Anadarko Vet's business. She (the OSU lady) said something about, "if you sell coffee and someone gives out free coffee in your small town you would not like it would you?" Both acted like a bunch of unprofessional clowns. I would not take a sewer rat to Anadarko Vet for treatment.
