Riverside Indian School, located in Anadarko, Okla., offers classes from grades four through 12 and enrolls more than 600 students. It follows Oklahoma's Priority Academic Student Skills Standards and the standards of the Bureau of Indian Affairs, and its core subjects include language arts, social studies, math and science. The school provide some special services, such as its exception education program where an individual education plan is provided for students with special academic needs; extended day where after school tutoring is available to assist students in improving their grade averages; and gifted and talented education where enrichment activities are provided. Riverside Indian School offers various extracurricular activities, including various sports, such as basketball, volleyball, boxing and football.
