Provided by YPmobileMy daughter took me here for lunch, that was a year ago, if I can remember service was ok the food was very good, I'll be returning very soon, about a 50 mile ride, I'll see if it's the same or better.

Provided by YP.comThe food here is really good.
My favorite is the white roughy on rice. We also love the salmon too!
Reasonably priced - better than most! Their tacos are decent too!

Provided by YP.comI have been a regular customer at California Fish Grill for a few years and still enjoy the food. My favorites are the grilled garlic butter salmon dinner and the salmon fish tacos. The salmon fish tacos are normally on special for $6.95 and the lunch includes whole pinto beans and a drink. What a deal! My husband enjoys the grilled cajun salmon dinner and my son always gets the shrimp wrap, tortilla chips and salsa. We are regular customers.

Provided by YP.comWhen we first walked in I saw that the chefs were preparing fresh, not frozing, fish right there within view. They have a nice selection of fish, some deep fried some grilled some cajun style. Can't really have the spicy food anymore so I went with the combo platter. My friend ordered the Salmon. The feel of this place is like it's some fish restaurant right next to the fish market. The ceiling is high and cavernous and the seating stretches all the way around the restaurant. Some of it is like, who would ever want to sit there but, hey, some people might. When they called our number the food was hot and the fish excellent. It was tender and flakey. The quality of the fish was superb! Fries were good too, although their coleslaw is weak but I won't hold it against them because I think the best coleslaw in the world is from KFC. So there!
The only real downside came when the place filled up, and fill up it did. This place is popular during lunch! Due to the way it is built (high ceiling, cement floors, walls close together) every conversation echoed like it was some sort of bar rush. That's fine if you have a raucous group of people but if two people are trying to have a conversation, it's a little tough.
