Provided by YP.comParking: You get shared or unshared garages. Some people get spaces. You have 1, 2 or 3 spots but its not sorted as to how many bedrooms you have. Garages are poorly maintained and leak. Theres NO visitor parking. If you have an open space, others might park in it and management does nothing. Maintenance: The maintenance man only speaks English when its convenient. If yo’re asking him to fix something, its suddenly “No hablo Inglés.” However, if you owed him money or if his job requires him to write in English, his English is perfect. He NEVER fixes things! We have had leaky plumbing for over a year. Every drain that can leak, does. Every month we write a work order and get the same results. The manager knows this, because if something needs to be fixed, she calls in a professional.
Construction: These apts might have looked good over 30 years ago. If they were better maintained, maybe the construction would be in better condition. They keep doing things half way, the construction wont last long. Like replacing only certain boards of a deck with serious termite damage and not treating for the termites, which was the original cause of the rotted deck. Or resealing the pool because of complaints to the health department when some folks got sick, but not doing the hot tub at the same time.
Noise: The noise is all right if you enjoy hearing your neighbors music and dogs barking constantly. The managers dogs are the main ones causing the ruckus. I dont understand how she thinks its ok for her to own like 6 dogs, but I suppose when youre the boss you have no one to answer to. Her dogs make a ton of noise anytime someone passes by them and dont let your children get too close because theyre not friendly. Men zoom through the parking lot fast with their music blaring at all times of the night. You get a lot of street noise in the complex and hear the fireworks every night at 9:30, but not see them.
Grounds: Why cant they fix the sprinkler system and put in some grass? If they had an issue keeping the grass green, they could always recruit the guy living on the East Side of the complex because he definitely has a green thumb. He has entirely too many plants on his patio attracting all of those bugs, but I guess thats ok since h’s the manage’s ex boyfriend and she still has a thing for him. Not to mention itd be nice if theyd add a grilling area since youre not allowed to keep grills on your patio.
Safety: Le’s just say youre as safe living here as you would be standing in the middle of the street. The “gated community” does nothing since security and office staff will let anyone in. I cant tell you how many times Ive seen people enter the gate after waiting for someone else to open it, since they didnt have a way to be buzzed in. People walking through and cars parked on top of the sensor always leave the gate open. The manager is more concerned about keeping tenants out of the pool, than keeping people who dont live here out of the complex. Ive had my garage burglarized too. Security staff is late or sometimes doesnt show up at all.
Laundry: The laundry machines, the few that are there, usually dont work and steal your quarters. The manager is supposed to open the laundry room during certain hours, but dont count on that happening. On several occasions Ive had to wait until after 1 PM to do laundry because the rooms were locked on days when it should have opened at 9 AM. My stuff has been stolen from the laundry room many times and the cameras dont catch crime, because they dont even work. Most of the cameras in the complex dont work, theyre just “for show.” (Quoted from the managers mouth.)
Office Staff: The manager Diana is the worst. The office staff in general doesnt do their jobs, they dont follow the laws and they just dont care! They are so rude. You should listen to my warning and not move here. Once youre here, they will make you miserable.
