I have been shopping here for ...

I have been shopping here for years and at least they tell you up front the fabric is discount, JoAnns sells seconds at top prices. The staff may not be friendly but like everything else you go to buy the fabric not to buy the staff. The only one who can come close to them is Hobby Lobby, they have the price and the quality but not the selection. All in all a good place for a quilter to shop.

I agree with Disney_witch. However, I do go once in a great while just because they do carry some unusual or out of date fabrics I can't find anywhere else. But yes, it is NO discount. Want a discount? Get Joanns coupons!

Better than walking all over the fabric district in LA

I went with a bunch of teens looking for fabric for matching dresses. Made the mistake of going to the fabric district in LA first. After many frustrating hours of not finding anything we stopped at M & L on the way home. M & L had a huge selection and much better prices with out all the walking and hastle.
