We have been trying to get our counters that we have already paid for installed for a new kitchen construction project. When we bought the slabs they said they could have our counters installed within 2 weeks, so we bought them that day & schedule a time for them to come measure. They no showed, so i called & they said the measurer was running late & he will need to reschedule. this after taking off work to sit & wait for a no show and no call to tell me. Then we reschedule on Saturday and another no show with no call. So i called them & they said i wasnt on the schedule. What!? He said he could come on Monday. Took another day off and he showed. He walked in& said he couldnt measure because the sink wasn't installed. Well, no one told us that & the subtop was already installed, so why? He said, policy. He said we would need to call the ofc to reschedule. I did & 4 days later he came back & measured. After 2 days & no call back from the office, i called! Was notified that we will need to come down again to approve the cut. So now we both need to wait another week to go approve. We are now way pass the original aggreement of within 2 weeks. So we go down and approve everything & prepay for the install. We are now over $8k upfront for the slabs & the install. So now they inform us it will take another 16 days to get installation. I gripe and complain that this was not the original expectation they gave us, but we go ahead and schedule for june 4th & get a guarantee from the owner it will be done. We made sure that they understood we have other trades we are scheduling right behind them the day after. It is june 4th now and another no show. So i call & get the runaround to find out we were never put on the schedule & they haven't even cut the slab!!!???? I told them that this unacceptable and they need to get out here & he hung up on me! Are you for real! He said they would have the owner call me. It has been 7 weeks.
