On August 31, 2014 I called the company to get service for a washing machine as the gasket on the machine was worn and needed replacement. I provided the model and part number to the representative by phone. I was told it would take a week for someone to get to house. I had already contacted a competitor and found that it would take them a week to special order the part, so I decided to use Allen & Peterson for the service. I utilized a roll of duct tape to secure the part for the next week. I was told on the initial call it would cost $100 before the technician would come to service the machine. On Tuesday, August 5 the company called to bill the fee prior to service the following date. The service time was on Wednesday, August 6 from 9-12. At approximately 10:00am this morning the technician called to say he was on his way, however said they didn't stock the part for my machine, and would take approximately another week to receive order. When I inquired as to why I wasn’t informed that last week he did not have a reply, and stated I should have been informed as the company does not even stock parts for my machine. Within the house the technician arrived, however during that wait I had located and found the part online. The technician arrived, inspected the machine, quoted the part for $45 over what I found it online, minus shipping expense. At no point did the technician provide a resolution to the situation. Prior to his arrival I contacted the home office to explain the above details. I was assured I was speaking to the right person to handle the complaint, however, yet again, no resolution was suggested. No offer was made to express order the part which would have gone miles in restoring my satisfaction. Needless to say, I have lost $100 in this process for nothing as no service was performed, no part was ordered, nor was a repair made. Very poor customer service and apparently no commitment to customer satisfaction.

Provided by YP.comI replaced all of the appliances in my older home over the period of two years. Each and every time i was very pleased with service I received from the staff. Very professional in all aspects-from sales to delivery. I would definitely recommend them. Great prices and great service!!!
