Provided by YP.comMy first appointment I waited 1/2 hour only to find they had missed me on the sign in sheet. I almost left, & now wish I had. The puff test machine didn't work on one eye, the girl acted like I was bothering her, & there was no follow up from that. After ordering my glasses, they couldn't get what I wanted, so that technician ordered something else for me without checking to see what I wanted. Communication is very poor with some staff & Dr. Macha. He was friendly, but didn't comment, explain or elaborate on anything. Well, I decided to give them another chance. My 2nd annual appointment, I was there two hours waiting off & on the whole time for a routine check. The puff test machine still wasn't working & again no follow up. I asked for cataract surgery info & Macha gave me a folder of info, but no verbal input. I assumed if I had any problems showing up, he would tell me, but 6 mo. later when I went to the eye surgeon to ask about cataract surgery, he informed me I had glaucoma & my optic nerve was damaged, which meant I had it when Macha checked me. I did talk to Macha about it, & he said he was very sorry. I said that's nice, but it doesn't give me my vision back. He said he didn't now why he didn't run another test on my eyes for glaucoma. When I got my records from Macha's office to see a new eye doctor, it listed I had lazy eye, which I have never had & don't have now. The new doctor guessed that what Macha saw as lazy eye, was actually from the glaucoma. So I now have permanent damage, medication for life, have had laser surgery, and a stint put in. I guess if you don't have any problems it's a good place to go, but I wouldn't want to risk waiting to see if they find anything. I picked up my records two months ago and told them I was going to a new eye doctor. They keep calling me to schedule a checkup appointment, so I called them back today & reminded them I had already picked up my records & changed eye doctors.
