I went to post 266 in Anderson, Indiana at around 10 PM Friday night . . There were several people in there having fun and drinking .. The doors were locked so I knocked on them .. A older black lady came to the inside door window and rudely shouted and told me they were closed . .I told her I belong to the VFW and have a lifetime membership card .. She sternly look at me and told me again WERE CLOSED .. I left feeling unwelcome and slighted that they did not even want to treat me decently.. I've tried to look up there hours but none are posted.. It is SAD and SHAMEFUL that other member of my local VFW treat Veterans this way. I am a Combat Vietnam Veteran who felt like I need to be in the company of other veterans that night .. I was extremely treated rudly and felt welcomed in a place that I belong at.
