We had to use Magnolia’s emergency services on a Sunday evening because my Cocker Spaniel popped her staples after a tumor removal. Our regular veterinarian was closed.
A tech came out to the car to get her because she was bleeding pretty badly. The tech actually got in the car and eased her out and carried her inside for us. The veterinary doctor was very nice and took great care of her, explaining in detail how to care for the wound when we got home. We were very pleased.
The only complaint we had was that they were incredibly expensive. It was $94 just to walk in the door.

They are in fact rude,. The office staff as well as the vets. I am not impressed and will be finding someone else to pay for services.

It's all about the money the hell with the pet!! it cost me 900.00 3 days, 45.00 extra just to talk with doctor, And still didn't help my cat out and wanted 250.00 to put him down, And he only had a urinary trac infection UTI Took him to another vet. for a second opinion he put him on some different cat food and he is 100% better the second vet said he was healthy, nothing is wrong with him he could not get over that they wanted to put him down for no reason, I have no use for Magnolia Hospital at all!!!

We took our 3 month old lab to Magnolia after she fell off the couch and wouldn't put any weight on her foot. They did one x-ray on her leg and said that she was fine, to quote them: "probably just jammed it. Nothing is broken or dislocated." They charged us $300. A week later she still wasn't putting any weight on her foot so we took her to Electric City Animal Clinic for a second opinion. They felt her elbow and said it definitely wasn't right. They did an x-ray and her elbow is very clearly dislocated. After a visit to a surgeon today, we found out that if her elbow had been popped back into place the night it happened (the night we took her to Magnolia) she could have avoided surgery. So now I've paid Magnolia $300, Electic City $130, and a surgeon $2500 simply because they didn't care enough about my dog to actually find the problem day one. Thanks Magnolia.

We are long time clients of Magnolia Vet Clinic. All the veterinarians there are extremely skillful, compassionate and caring. They have saved several of our pets' lives and over the years have been there for us when our pets have crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Some reviewers have spoken about cost...I'm sorry people, but as much as vets love animals they have families to support and feed just like you! Have you a EVER gotten free medical care from your human doctor?!? We feel blessed to have such an outstanding facility in our community.

We took our 3 yr old lab to Magnolia Vet for a gun shot wound to the rearend with no exit wound. They took xrays of his pelvic and abdomen areas and didn't see the bullet, only tiny fragments. I asked could the bullet be in his chest area being that they didn't take xrays and was told that the bullet wouldn't go that far! The vet thought that the bullet may have exited through his urethra. We were sent home with antibiotics to prevent infection, pain meds, and anti-inflammatory meds and was told to watch and make sure that he could pee good. If so he would be fine and if not, we would need a specialist. We got home with him and he was restless through the night. He was up at 4am to get some water. By 6:30 he was dead! We had NO idea this was a possibility so something was missed! We discussed this with the office and we are very disappointed with the care that we received! We now have a 10 yr old daughter that doesn't want to sleep in her room because he died in there! We will not be back or recommend anyone to go there!

used to be good and caring. Not since they went 24 hour and added many people. I went there for years and ended up going elsewhere and won't go back now. Attitudes and lack of compassion among a couple reasons

Great service and caring!

Our golden retriever cut her foot today and we took her to Magnolia. It was an GREAT experience! Even late on a Saturday they were friendly, fast, and incredibly caring! Very reasonable for an after hours emergency care and didn't nickel and dime us! So appreciative for their office!

I love Magnolia. The staff are great and I usually don't have to wait long for my appointment. I took my dog in because he was scratching a lot and I wanted to see the problem. Of course it was simple and he had allergies. Instead of charging me for a prescription my vet told me to give him fish oil and a few other over the counter options. THIS WAS GREAT! A vet who tries to give you the best and cost friendly options are always great in my book.

If you value your pet's health don't take it here. The vets are only interested in money, they are arrogant and rude. Don't let them talk you into using their heartworm medicine that they claim is made especially for them. It made my dog very sick and charged $600 for a no diagnosis. These pills are probably not approved and they are making a killing pushing them. They do not even offer the brand name pills. They are very good at blowing smoke and making you think they care about your pet, but they are only interested in your pocketbook.

I have been taking Bunny to Ma...

I have been taking Bunny to Magnolia since she was just a pup. They have always taken their time, ask me questions and explained everything that was going on. Bunny is now 12 and is in fantastic shape. She does have some back issues that we are currently looking into with the help of Dr. Fuller. Working in a Veterinary office is not the easiest job in the world. You have to be patient and bring as much information on your pet as you can. It also pays to stay with the same Vet if at all possible and to keep records at home. I have every piece of paperwork I have been given since 2001. Thanks to the Docs and Vet Techs......Bunny

I can't believe there are seve...

I can't believe there are several favorable reviews regarding Magnolia Animal Hospital in Anderson, SC. The office has an unfriendly staff with little care for their patients. There is too much going on and no one knows how to handle it. The exam rooms are tiny and the vet doe snot take his time with his patients. In fact, I took my dog there and he didn't even touch him. The staff confuses names when they have you on hold and don't know how what's going on.

We take our pets here

Our cat, Simon, has a medical condition that requires him to eat a special kind of food or he will die. This veterinary office sells that cat food and they take good care of Simon!
