If I could give zero stars then I would. The postal system in Anderson is terrible. We hardly ever get our mail, and when it does come it's extremely late. I received a bill postmarked February 3 and didn't get it until the middle of March. My children are still currently waiting for the Easter cards their grandparents sent them.... It's May 19th. The worst is that I just received a letter from the school district because my children are magnet students. Their documentation was supposed to be turned in yesterday. That's hard to do since I JUST got it (postmarked the beginning of May). It is ridiculous!

They are CLOSED from 12:30 to 3?????????????????????? If you go to the main Anderson PO be sure to take a drink and a snack; you'll be there a while. This one's a small PO so you hope to get in and out but NOOO. Only one person is ever there and with such abbreviated hours it's packed when open. I've never been there when they are open when the line was not out the door. Apparently the PO believes if you have to wait for at least an hour it will make you appreciate their services enough to overpay for them. The folks here are rude and rule-bound; well, having 2 1/2 hours for lunch makes you short-tempered, I guess.
