Clearfork elementary school offers education to students from kindergarten to second-grade, and operates under the Andrews Independent School District. The school provides classes in a range of subjects, such as English, mathematics, social sciences, reading and science. It offers Writing to Read, an IBM computer program for students in kindergarten and first-grade. Each campus in the district has a Jostens lab that features an integrated learning system, offering remediation, enrichment and acceleration of content. Located in Andrews, Tenn., the elementary school offers an accelerated reading program for all grades. Special phonics programs are used in elementary grade levels to reinforce the regular curriculum. All administrative offices, campuses and classrooms are fully networked via the district's fiber optic network system. Teachers and students in all classrooms have access to the district s wide area network, the campus local area network, libraries throughout the state, and the Internet.
