Beth Israel Congregation, established in 1916 and located in Ann Arbor, Mich., is a Jewish congregation affiliated with the conservative movement. The congregation offers programs for youth, adults and children that include family education programs, inter-generational programs, adult programs, adult Jewish journey groups, Shabbat and holiday programs, youth groups and teen programs. The men's club undertakes various projects throughout the year, including ushering during High Holiday Services, prayer book repair, annual men's club Shabbat, the Yom HaShoah candle project, Sukkah building day, worldwide wrap and Web Site maintenance for the congregation. A variety of youth and teen programs are available, such as Halutzim (grades three to five), Kadima (grades six to eight), teen Shabbat, high school dinner-out and high school trip.
