I've have never dealt with a worse company in my life! We haven't had our vacuum a year it's already broken and we have taken it in to have it looked at they claimed it was fixed bring it home still doesn't work we have been battling them to get it fixed for over two months so I'm paying for a piece of crap that doesn't work!

This company blatantly lied over and over about their product. Of course their seedy, high pressure tactics are well-known. I could go on and on about that. They are pushy and won't leave after telling them repeatedly that you are not interested. I was told that the rep only needed to do a demo to earn a trip. I felt bad for the kid, so said that he could do a demo only. That turned into a 4 hour demo with three other salesmen entering my home to add to the high pressure sales. I was convinced by the suction, but said that I will never invest in a vacuum with bag odor issues. I have two dogs, but my house is immaculate. Our home and carpet is professionally cleaned, and our dogs are indoor dogs. Professional cleaners have mentioned that our house does not look like a household with pets.Either way, pet dander that sits eventually has an odor unless there is a hard shell enclosure like the one on the Dyson. I was assured that the micron bags were guaranteed not to have EVER an odor as they were hospital grade and micron tight. This was repeated over and over again. I had the three-day trial, so I vacuumed each day to be sure that there wasn't an odor. About a month later I noticed an odor. It worsened over time to the point of my entire linen closet smelling like the garbage Kirby bag. (Oh-guess what? You are also told not to store the vacuum in the closet! We don't all have laundry rooms to accommodate that monster of a vacuum and I am certainly not going to leave it in a bedroom or living room. I told the sales reps that I did not want to deal with cover-up tablets sprays etc., as I had done that before. It basically smells like dirty feet and lemons. Again, I was assured multiple times throughout the night that this would not happen because of the Kirby quality bag. I brought up my concern about older Kirbys having an odor and was also told that the new design would prevent any odor as well. I have contacted Shy Enterprises and was spoken to in a condescending way by all staff except Emily. The same for my husband.I was told that nothing verbal counts-only the receipt matters. Then I was told that I should bathe my dogs more often because I probably don't realize that my entire house has an odor-of course he stated that he didn't mean this to be insulting. Next I was told to get a thicker bag and odor oils/discs. Again-this does not resolve the issue. This company uses deceit to sell their product . I can't believe that we are stuck with a $1,000 piece of junk that stinks up the entire house every time that we vacuum. We will take further action as their practices violate consumer protection laws.

I bought a Kirby from Shy Ent. and I LOVE my Kirby!!! I wouldnt be without it..a guy came to my home and showed me a demonstration, he had me at hello! when he vacuumed my mattress, all this nasty dead skin came out my mattress! YUCK!!! i never seen anything so gross! i cant imagine anyone not owning a Kirby, because its the only vacuum that can vacuum a mattress and helps my son with his allergies...if you have pets, its great on pet hair too :) anyway when I call the office they are always nice on the phone. i never have a problem..I even stopped in one time around 7:30pm after I got off work hoping someone would be there because i forgot how to put the head back on the Kirby to vacuum. A lady answered the door and said they were closed. I told her I drove all the way from Adrian an if she could please help me fix my Kirby, she let me come in and took the time to help me. so this place I will give 5 stars!!! Thank you for the best vacuum I ever purchased!!!

Well I would have gave a great review but I needed to return my kirby I wasn't sure what was needed to do I called 4 times the day I would not be charged my name was taken down and said I would be called back before 5 nobody got back to me the 5th time I called someone finally answers (a day late so I'll be charged btw) and simply all the lady could say was we don't deal with cancelations it's on your contract what needs to be done... wait what that's all... you couldn't tell me that yesterday before I was going to be charged you guys should be shameful you dont know the reasons people are trying to cancel yet you cause for people to have to pay anyways it's wrong on so many levels... now if they would have gave me this info yesterday I would have gave them 5 stars the sales associates who sold it to me were absolutely amazing at what they do but for personal reason I can't stay with kirby so farewell never again will I let a kirby sales team in my home.

I bought my Kirby from Shy Enterprises Inc. way over 5 years ago. The machine is STILL going strong even if it's not the newest model. The office staff is pleasant and helpful, and any time I have ever had a problem or concern they have gone above and beyond to help me. Very happy to be a loyal, and long time customer. Thank you.

BAD NEWS AND PEOPLE

I bought a Kirby from Shy Enterprises Inc and decided I was not able to afford it. I have 3 days after the sale to return the Kirby and Cancel my transaction without any Penalty or Obligations.I did this 2 days after. I did use the Kirby as well as the person that sold it to me used it in my home and the neighbors home. So it was used by me and the saleman. Now Shy Enterprises is telling me they have to send it out to see how much I used it and that will determine How much I will be getting back on my deposite I made of $1,200.00. THis is Poor service on them.The Kirby is not broken and all the pieces I have returned. I should recieve all of my Deposite from them. Also when I called Shy Enterprieses the ladies were really RUDE to me and one of them hung up on me when I was trying to talk to her about my Problem. She had nothing to say except that I was making her boss mad and she had to hang up with me when I was trying to get answers out of her and I was a bother to her.So please stay away from this company and from what I have googled they are known for there poor Customer service. I will be calling the BBB on them and my Lawyer.
