When we called Brentley's to discuss paying our bill, they informed us that a $30 late fee had been added, even though the bill had only been received a couple of weeks prior. The bill DID NOT mention that a late fee would be assessed if not paid by a certain date. When we asked that the fee be waived, the owner called and tried to intimidate my wife into paying the extra fee. Apparently, $30 is more important to this company than retaining a customer who had used their service several times. It is not reasonable to expect customers to pay fees that have not been disclosed. We sent in a check (since they don't accept credit cards) to pay the original bill in full and still received calls from the owner complaining that we didn't pay the late fee. Brentley's treats customers with intimidation and insults rather than respect and appreciation.
