Provided by YP.com@Margie.castro.315, just for the record, I purchased a home from LGI and when i went to "inquire" I came alone "NO MAN" after going over every thing with me, I did the paper work, once i was "PRE-APPROVED" they offered me a house my money could buy, after the paper work we drove out to the lot where the house was going to be built, Once we returned to the office we went over pricing and earnest money i would have to leave. I left the earnest money and we left, that was April, May I had to hand in the things they needed me to hand in and close out things i needed to close out, June, I had a Mortgage Co pick me up and approve me, July my closing date was set. Now, as far as them not being professional, hate to be the one to tell you this, it wasn't them it was you according to your "letter of complaint" down below. They are all the most caring and supportive staff of people I've ever meant. They not only go out of there way to meet your needs they make sure things happen. They make sure the customer is completely satisfied. Bobby was my sales Rep and personally, he's a darn good man, he's true to his word and will see you all the way to the end. It's called order, things have to be done "in order" they didn't treat you no different than myself and others that came in as a "SINGLE FEMALE", If you had given them the politeness that I'm sure they gave you, you would be in your home by now enjoying your investment and surrounded by plenty of "Single females". Please don't bash LGI, cause for some of us, we are truly grateful for them and there staff. For those in need of a home, and you think you can't afford your home, trust LGI with your concerns, they will put you in a home and will continue to stick by you with your concerns and problems, if they can't get you in a home they are honest enough to tell you why and what you need to do for future investments. Don't get lost in other people complaints, find out for your self and walk in on a Saturday or Sunday morning but when you come, come with patience, a check book ( with money n the account) and your kind spirits, determination and most of all with faith in God knowing that ALL things will work together for your good. wither its good or bad, God will not give you nothing he won't see paid for. I'm a single female, "retired" on a fix income and they got me a mortgage. God is good and Lgi is great :) I hope you buy and find out for your self. God Bless. T

Provided by YP.comI do not know what shenanigans are goin on, but seems like the way they handle their business is shady.
stopped by a model home for builder LGI b/c they had a "we are open" sign in the window; it was 5 and they closed at eight. Nobody was there yet we were told we should have had an appointment yet they would help us "anyway." I made it clear within the first 5 minutes I want a 1 story on a large lot. Our salesperson Bobby said we can pick any lot. I asked for a price range and he refused and said he will tell us later. I sd can I at least look at the homes ? He said no, they had to run my credit first or it would be "a waste of time." I doubt this would have been the case if I had a man with me but I maybe since I am a single female they made me fill out an application before even seeing a house or giving me a price. I filled out their app and they ran my credit and told me what I need down. I sd OK. Bobby asked if I was prepared to leave ernest money today and I said yes. He still refused to give me a price, or even square feet range of the homes. We went driving and looked at models, both 2 story, and I did not care for them. I said I liked the one story, but they just sold the last one today (imagine that) and all i could get was one of the ugly apartment looking 2 story houses on the lots I liked. I sd I was supposed to be able to choose my lot (??) Bobby said they already had to pay 10,000 to submit building permits to the city telling them what house will be built on each lot. (i know for a fact this is a lie) SO I sd OK, well, thank you.. then Bobby made a call to "his boss" who said if I am prepared to put down the money today, I could get the house I want on the lot I liked. I said OK.. how much is the house ? Still refused to give me a price. I said how many square feet are the homes ? He refused to tell me and said they dont have that info (LOLOLOL!) We get back to the sales office where some guy (Bobbys boss??) said he cannot put the home I want (the "Savannah") because they will not make it in the next edition (??) so he continued trying to ramrod the Cypress, which looks smaller than an apartment. I said well you just said 15 minutes ago I can put the Savannah on lot 95, how did your policy change so quickly in the last 15 minutes ? (and on a Sunday night) He said "because I don't want to !" So I said OK, well, bye.. and left. Still I have no clue of any pricing or any square feet, They act more like used car salesmen than proffessional realtors. I am making a complaint with the Texas Real Estate Commission in the Morning.. I also want that credit bureau inquiry removed.
