I had the worst experience wit...

I had the worst experience with Glow Salon. I had a pretrial hair appointment scheduled for my wedding day. I also had my wedding day scheduled and my three bridesmaids were going to get their hair done there too.

I am known to be a very positive, see-the-good-in-everything- kind of person. However, I have to write my very first bad review.

Everything started out fine. Mandy, a receptionist, was kind and organized. But no one gave me any instructions for my hair going into the hair appointment.

My mom drove 11 hours from Atlanta to be with me at this appointment.

That morning I decided to check advice online and washed my hair. Then called them in the morning to see about putting products in my hair. The receptionist suggested not to and that I could just wet it and pull it back.

I arrived and showed the pictures of what I was wanting for my updo. My hair goes past my shoulders, but it is too fine. Jaci, the hair stylist, said I absolutely needed extensions to get the full look I was showing her on the pictures. I said no problem.. we can go buy some and come back. She said, okay, but you only have an hour for your appointment. We asked if we could run out and get it anyway and she said yes. We drove to the nearest mall and sprinted to the hair extension shop. We bought them in seconds and then physically ran back to the car and drove back. I ran up the stairs and got back ten minutes earlier than what she even predicted.

She had already touched my hair before we left, but now touches it again saying well, it is wet so I do not have time to blow it out and do anything with the time that we have. I could not believe it. We reminded her that she could have told us that and not let us run out like that to buy the extensions. She simply shrugged and said there was no time. I explained that the receptionist said she told me to come with wet hair. Jaci said she was not responsible for what the receptionist says or does.

Jaci was clearly finding any reason not to work on my wedding hair updo. When I told her about my mother being in town only for this weekend (for the hair trial and last dress fitting) we were, once again, met with unsympathetic eyes.

I understand that she had appointments to keep, but I had thought she would be more helpful towards a bride wanting to have the right hair for her wedding day.

The salon did not try to accommodate in any way, shape or form. That experience was unbelievably frustrating. I truly, sincerely, suggest you stay away from this salon and spa.

Great!

My hair specialist at Glow Salon is outstanding as are her fellow employees. Michelle has done an outstanding job on my hair every time that I have gone. She is an excellent hair colorist and is a joy to be around. In addition to color, I always get an excellent cut and style. I recommend this salon to everyone.
