Provided by YPmobileI have have used many audio system installers over the last 15 years and absolutely love this place. They are very affordable and knowledgable. I would not trust my audi A6 with anyone else and i have been to some of the most popular sound system companies from DC to Philly

Provided by YP.comEXCELLENT SERVICE and EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE STAFF!!!
Growing up with modifying cars and upgrading the car's audio system, I know the difference between a professional reputable shop that does great work and what a "hack shop" or an inexperienced poorly run shop is. I visited, called, researched, and dealt with a lot of aftermarket shops in the area, let me tell you, these guys are the best in the Annapolis, Baltimore, DC areas when it comes to car audio and everything that encompasses electronics accessories in cars. My most recent experience with Insane Car Audio was when I challenged them with upgrading my brand new 2015 Honda Accord. I came to them after checking other places in the area and what made me pick them was that I was comforted by the confidence and experience of their staff. Their store front itself looked very nice inside and outside and very clean. After discussing and going through several options and potential stages of upgrades with the team there, I made my decision to stick with these guys.
I dropped the vehicle off for the day to have JL Audio subwoofer, JL Audio amplifier installed to my factory radio, 3M Color Stable window tint to be applied, and an HID lighting system installed to replace my low beams.
Once my work day was over, I picked up my car, and noticed right away that not only did they use automotive service floor mats to prevent dirtying up my car's floor mats, but they also used protective plastic seat covers. I have never seen any shop, outside of a luxury car dealership, to treat a car with such care before even taking it into the service bay. The tint film came out clean, installation of the amp and wiring was neat and exactly where I wanted it. The subwoofer that they had recommended was the exact sound what I was looking for, for the type of music I listen to. Kudos Insane Car Audio, kudos. You have won me over and have a customer for life.
I wrote this review in the hopes people will read it and take my advice seriously. These days it is difficult to find a good shop. For a shop to match the experience, level of service, selection and professionalism as Insane Car Audio is near impossible in this area. I highly recommend going to Insane Car Audio for your car audio, automotive electronics, and accessories needs.

Provided by YP.comWas quoted a price over the phone, made an appointment three weeks out, dropped the car off and caught a ride to work with a friend. After not hearing from them I called to inquire if they had started the work - they hadn't. I asked if the keys were still under the tire - they were. So much for the appointment. Then I was asked how much I was quoted - that's unusual. After I replied he said "Well, that's not accurate, let me ask, do you have backup sensors because when the install is complete they won't work anymore". WAIT WHAT? Thanks for letting me know that the price quoted wasn't accurate and being so nonchalant about it. So how much is it? Triple the price - I'll find an honest shop, thank you though. Now to find a ride back to the shop, what a complete waste of Annapolis roadway.

Provided by YP.comDo not go here! August of 2013 we had a DVD player installed in our car. It stopped working in February 2014 but we had a one year warranty on it. We took it in and they told us that it had gone "bad" and that we would have to ship the DVD player back and wait for a "new" one to come. Weeks and weeks went by without a call from them and we kept checking in to find out where the DVD player was. They never knew... Finally it arrives (again, we found out because we called them) but it's refurbished, not new. They installed the refurbished DVD player. Two months later it stopped working again. When we called we were told that we could have the second one replaced by another refurbished one and that they would not be willing to replace the DVD player with a different type. Why would we put a third DVD player from the same manufacturer in again? So we wasted time getting the first one installed, then uninstalled, then the second one installed to have it go "bad" again. We asked that the owner call us. No call. We asked for a full refund. We were completely ignored. Sent an email 4/11/14 - no response. Horrible customer service and we had our lawyers send a letter requesting a refund. big surprise - no response. What a waste of $1,045.00 and our time! We're going to small claims court to continue to try to get our money back. Ridiculous!

Provided by YP.comI purchased a navigation system with a back-up camera from Insane Car Audio. First, the sales representative Luis quoted me a price and did not stick to the price upon completion of service. He also did not honor his promise of having the service completed by a certain time, in fact, the service took 2 1/2 hours longer than promised. Additionally, I realized that I did not have to sign a contract or anything before they did my service which is one reason I should have known it was an unprofessional establishment. Second, although I was not satisfied with the installation of my equipment, to include, the movement of the display screen I was unable to receive the full amount that I had paid. Also, the stereo controls were not fitted properly to the navigation/radio controls. Heck my radio station did not even play properly, it would skip and repeat itself. The sales rep Luis was trying to convince me to not return the equipment, and I let him know that I was returning it because I was sure I could go somewhere else and receive the proper service for what I was paying for. Luis then stated, "You're just spoiled, I feel bad for your husband" not knowing my situation. That I'm currently going through a divorce. I mentioned this to him after him calling me a spoiled brat and telling me all the other things about someone he knows nothing about. Last but not least, I returned to have the equipment removed from my car and there are scratches and all sorts of scuffs on my car interior, and a blown speaker (not sure how this happened). It also only took two hours to have the system removed and my car back with the original equipment. The company was unable to refund my debit card with my refund minus the labor amount I paid to my debit card, so they wrote a check that has yet to clear with my bank and it has been 4 business days, but I will give this time to post. Finally, the last straw with this company they have charged my account additional money 300$ that I did not authorize. Which is a fraudulent charge and they even gave a fraudulent reason to my bank. I will be sure to not only report this company to you'll, but also the police. I really hope no one else has to deal with the issues I have faced with Insane Car Audio. I will say that they have lived up to their name, and not in a professional way!

Provided by YP.comIf it is professional, knowledgeable, and experienced staff that you are looking for just go to Insane Car Audio. Trust me it's worth the drive! They were kind and helpful. They paid close attention to my needs and desires. It was definitely an experience that I would recommend to anyone that does not like going to the larger inexperienced competition. Besides, I would not trust the other competition working on my 2012 Mercedes.
