I work at a merchants in Rockville md and all the custormers that come to the know store and I can tell u that as many cars that I worked on not one of them came back because I made sue that noted everything that I saw and gave a estimate to show wat the damage is so that way it give the custormer a idea

Do not bring your car to this facility. I brought my car to Merchants located on West Street and was overcharged for repairs. The staff is unprofessional and the mechanics are incompetent. The mechanics are not knowledgeable. They will try to have you purchase additional repairs that your vehicle does not require. So do yourself a favor and avoid a migraine by not bringing your car to this place. I should have done my research first by reading the reviews online on this repair facility. I should have also checked with the BBB (Better Business Bureau) BEWARE.

Beware

Merchants has damaged my vehicle. They tried to diagnose why my check engine light was on and they charged me for service that did not turn off my check engine light. Merchants tried several times to correct the problem and could not. They still charged me and would not refund my money that I have paid. I contacted Tire Kingdom headquarters who ownes Merchants and NTB and they just ignored me. I have lost hundreds of dollars. I would not recommend bringing your car to Merchants

Dont go to Merchants

I have visited the Merchants several times for car repairs. It took me 4 visits to realize that the employees did not know what they are doing. I have had nothing but problems with this shop. They have switched managers several times. The service manager has falsely advised me that I needed repairs. The repairs that should have been done, was not. They could not even perform a simple oil change. The service manager stated to me that the oil change was done. When I arrived home, my oil stick was missing and my oil filter was not changed. I have complained to Merchants Corporate office. They have not responded back to me. I will report this shop to the Better Business Bureau (BBB). A word of advise, always check out a company with the BBB to verify if a company has had previous complaints on file. It would save you a headache.
