I have belonged to many gyms throughout my life and had a lot of positive experiences but not from Premier Fitness. It is a total scam. I was talked into signing up for the 1 year plan since it would be cheaper per month. I ended up not being able to use my membership as much as I wanted. I called to cancel and they told me I had to come in and fill out these forms and show proof that I moved out of the area. I did all that, and I was still recieving payments. I called to see what the problem was and they said I had to pay a cancellation fee. I was never told this the first time I went in. At this point there was only a few months left for the year membership so I just decided to suck it up and paid the remaining months. I called after I paid the last month and the man I talked to said my membership was over and I would no longer be recieving bills. Then what happened, of course I recieve another bill. I call immediately and they said after a year, the membership rolls over into month by month. Furious at this point I asked to speak to who is in charge of dealing with these payments and the one woman who I can talk to isn't in and will only be in on certain hours on certain days of the week. Overall, over a year later I still haven't been able to get out of my membership. Throughout this ordeal I have called Premier Fitness at least 10 times and I get a different answer everytime I called. The gym is a total scam and I wouldn't suggest anyone to join it who doesn't want to belong for a life-time.



On another side, I have recently joined Annapolis Athletic Club which I love. They are very cut and dry about their cancellation process and explain it to you when you join. The overall vibe is much more friendlier then Premier Fitness. So for people in Annapolis, there are other choices, Premier Fitness would be my last option.
