This is a one symptom per visit doctor. I have multi systematic issues. He took me off my Ativan and said he cured my anxiety. My panic disorder and Epilepsy actually worsened while seeing him. For refills for Schedule 4 drugs and above, if you're sick, your spouse cannot go pick them up for you. You must show up with a state ID. Worst Primary thus far.

Dr. Fava is a rude and disrespectful man. On a recent visit my phone beeped as he was sitting down to see me. I looked at my phone and Dr. Fava stood back up and said he would come back when I put my phone way. Upon exiting the room he slammed the door behind him. I could not believe it. I had been waiting for almost an hour to see Dr. Fava and he throws a temper tantrum and slams the door. This was not the first time he has been unprofessional but this was the last time he will be rude to me.

The first thing I can state is I am having rectal and stomach problems. This doctor didn't even shake my hand before he told me he wants to send me to a surgeon. The man didn't exam me, touch me or allow me to show him any part of my body. I then asked about my stomach problems. The doctor told me to schedule another appointment. He only does ONLY COMPLAINT AT A TIME. Then when I told him I needed to see another doctor for a second opinion he told me, "Ok Go Find One. I'm not writing anything." This doctor is a SCAM ARTIST just like his reviews state above. They would not refund my CO PAY. I did contact my issurance company and they stated this was not the first time this doctor has had complaints filed with them on this doctor. I also contacted the Better Business Bureau, they don't even have a record of this doctor. I have filed complaints with the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners and the American Medical Association. How can someone look at a fully clothed man and say ok, you need a doctor. Doctors now days evidently have X-Ray Vision. PLEASE BE WARNED!!!

Dr. Fava took time to listen and then explain what was expected for me to do in order to achieve the best health possible . I felt very comfortable with him . As for the staff they're all like a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day . I had a great experience with my appointment.

The doctor might be rude but his staff is unprofessional. Ask the nurse to refer you to someone else for a problem and she doesn't have time. It would take away from the gossip and watching tv of her time. She has to be the patients and yet never saw her when I was at the office. What patient was she talking about. She needs to get out of the caring for people business because she doesn't. Will NEVER go back to see him or that unprofessional so-called nurse.

The man is rude and his medical education needs to be updated. He advised me to starve myself, when I asked him for advise on weight loss.
