I had a coupon for $4 off a carton of cigarettes that I attempted to use, but was denied because the expiration date was for the NEXT day, and the attendant (I think his name was Frank) said he "wasn't loosing $4 because of me." He stated that he wouldn't be able to get the coupon in the mail in time to get his refund. Dumb***, I talked to THREE other gas station attendants/owners, and they all said the same thing: if it's post-marked before the date the coupon expires then you get your refund. I was so angry (he talked down to me in front of 5 other customers) that I walked out without making any purchase. When he told me he wasn't loosing $4 on me, I replied that he had just lost a customer that was going to buy THREE CARTONS, and I do every week from this location. Never again. I'll take my business elsewhere, rather than deal with RUDE, IGNORANT people like the ones that work at this Shell location. I never make a big deal about anything, usually frustrations just roll off my back, but this REALLY has angered me, and I am going to take several steps to report this attendant's behavior.
