Pickard China Factory Outlet has been a respected manufacturer of fine china since 1893. Founded in Edgerton, Wis., the company opened a new showroom in New York on the ninth floor of the Merchandise Mart on Madison Avenue. Pickard China Factory Outlet is renowned for its graceful shapes and appealing decorations. The company s limited edition of collectibles includes plates and bowls that have won several awards, including being a four-time recipient of the Best Manufacturer of Limited Editions award by the National Association of Limited Edition Dealers. Pickard has manufactured a wide spectrum of collectors plates, such as reproductions of religious works by old masters that include Alba Madonna by Raphael; the Lockhart Wildlife Series, Children of Renoir, Mother s Love and Let s Pretend by Irene Spencer; and Gems of Nature by Cyndi Nelson. The President Bowl, which celebrated the bicentennial of the United States Presidency, was introduced in 1989, and the first order for the bowl was placed personally by President George H.W. Bush.
