Apollo Middle School is a public school that is a part of the Nashville-Davidson school district, and is located in Antioch, Tenn. It enrolls more than 850 students from grades five through eight. It provides a nurturing environment with emphasis on assisting children to learn appropriate ways to solve problems, and to obtain the academic skills necessary to be successful in high school. It provides a comprehensive education in all core curricular areas, and its curriculum includes English, mathematics, science and American history. It also gives instructions in health and physical education, computer science, art and music. Apollo Middle School offers a variety of extracurricular activities, including various sports, such as basketball, swimming and volleyball.
