Provided by YP.comRecently I had taken one of my dogs to Carimg Critters Animal Hospital. The first dog I took is an Ausie mix that is very flighty and frightened. My dog Patches responded so well to the care and kindness that the staff gave her. They were so patient with her and she responded to their kindness.
The second of my beloved pets to seek care was my Chow Mix. She had a very serious medical issue that needed corrective surgery to remove a HUGH stone in her bladder. Dr. Zimmerman and her staff could not have been more concerned and caring to myself and my pet. The surgery went well, and Cya no longer has issues urinating. Dr. Zimmerman even called me well after 7pm last night to give me the results off Cya's lab speciman.

I took my puppy in to Dr. Zimmerman because she was having bloody diarrhea. I was greeted with a smile by the front staff. The assistant, Amanda (I think) came out and instantly had a connection with my puppy. Dr. Zimmerman was very sweet did a very good check of my puppy. They explained what was happening and what were the ways to fix it. Within two days of seeing Dr. Zimmerman my puppy was back to her old (young) self and no more blood. I would recommend Caring Critters to everyone.

Provided by YP.comthe business is shady, and the "care" was abusive. After
making an appointment for shots for two dogs, we were
treated to a two hour wait (why did we make an
appointment?). Then, were taken to a conference room to
discuss charges - where we were presented with a $600.00+
bill, which included a plethora of tests and treatments
that we did not ask for, followed by them arguing with us
about doing these tests - after we had made it clear that
this visit was for vaccinations so that the dogs can be
kenneled if needed.
After they finally realized that we weren't there to get
soaked, they agreed to the vaccinations we requested -
$87.00 per dog.
When we got the dogs into the room, the vet proceeded to
manhandle the dogs. she was so rough she had the smaller
dog crying out, which got our larger dog trying to
protect the smaller one, So they muzzled him for his
shots (he didn't try to bite, by the way) and then
manhandled him to the point where he was so tensed up
when she gave him the shots, she actualy remarked, " he's
going to be sore tomorrow, since he was so tense when I
gave him the shots".
My dogs are both experienced with going to the vet, and
other vet visits have never been like this. If my doctor
were to treat me like that, they'd probably need to put a
muzzle on me, too.
Needless to say, we're shopping for a new vet.
First let me start by saying I believe this person has us confused with another animal clinic. 1 - we do not have a conference room; 2 - we only present an ESTIMATE (if it is even necessary) for things that the Dr feels are necessary for the health and well being of the animal. The Owners are ALWAYS the ones who make the final decision after an estimate is presented; 3 - although we do our best to be ontime with scheduled appointments, sometimes as most medical/dental/vet appts go, there can be a wait - but Never have we kept someone here for 2 hours unless there was a significant issue with an animal that needed to be attended to immediately - i.e. an emergency procedure. 4- The Dr. does not have the ability to Man Handle any animal as she is a women. 5 - As for the muzzle, sometimes it is necessary to protect the animal, doctor and or technicians.

Dr Karbs is the most kindest vet I have been to. She was really good with my dog and she took the time and answered all my questions. Thank you!!!

I took my senior cat there to be examined, mostly the VET TECHS did all the work, took my cat "in the back" for prolonged periods of time, kept coming to me with numerous estimates while pushing the costliest procedures down my throat (to no avail). The Vet actually only spent a few minutes with me and my cat, the outcome was expensive and "inconclusive". My appointment there took TWO HOURS! That is NOT exagerating. Horrible experience for me and my cat, NEVER going back.

I took my dog in to get his paw looked at and fixed. The veterinarian gave me Chlorhexidine 0.2% and told me to clean it twice a day and put the Chlorhexidine on it. Well after almost three weeks, my dog's wound is still the exact same as when I took him in there. The office manager and the secretary told me basically "too bad". I would have to pay for ANOTHER office visit when they should have fixed it the first time. Worst veterinarian I have ever been to. Maybe if I had taken him to a different vet hospital his foot would be fixed now. I will NEVER again take him to caring critters. These people do not care, they are only about over charging you, and apparently recharging you for something they should have done the first time. Please avoid these people, they are absolutely the worst.

Dr. Zimmerman does an amazing job. My mom has been going to her for years and now I am continuing to go with my own pets. I trust her with every single one of my pets lives.

I was so happy with the staff at Caring Critters. My dog had to have a c-section and they saved my momma dogs life and her 4 puppies. I am so Pleased with their kindness and promptness with my Life and death situation.

They got my dog in right away when she had a problem. Later I needed blood work faxed to another state, they were very responsive and helpful.

Dr. Zimmerman neutered my dog without my consent!

Provided by YP.comThe staff in this hospital is without a doubt the most uneducated staff I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. The doctor's conduct; very unacceptable. I thought compassion was supposed to be part of this job!
