This doctor is a great option, especially if you have high deductible insurance. The fee for 2013 is $449 which includes a physical with bloodwork, EKG, urine, etc. After that each visit is $20. With my $5000 deductible, it only will take a few visits to make this a good deal and my insurance company is never involved. The staff is friendly and my blood draw was handled with some skill. Dr. Forrest was my doctor. He did have an intern from UNC take my history but he was the person who handled my physical, went over the results with me, and answered my questions. Overall, I thought the intern was incorporated well. The staff knocks before entering the room, they don't ask you to take your clothes off until it's necessary (which I've always found demeaning), and the doctor asked me several times if I had any questions. I arrived at 10:45 for an 11:00 appointment and had blood pressure/weight taken immediately. I did wait for the doctor, but that was only about 10-15 minutes - or for when my appointment actually was. I recommend this practice for good treatment and to support a common-sense alternative to hospital/insurance run medical offices. My only dislike was that the room was not as sound proof as I'd want.
