Provided by YP.comI believe that this is a very popular restaurant for a reason. That reason is the food! I have had pizza there numerous times and it is delicious. Anna's Special is my favorite kind. I do not care for the thickest "pizza pie" because it has a thick doughy crust. Anna's has a great location cat-a-corner from Apex Baptist Church. They have limited outdoor seating. The service is slow sometimes, in my opinion. The restaurant is small, always crowded and has a good ambiance.

Provided by YP.comThis was the 3rd time I've visited Anna's. The other 2 experiences were positive, but this one left me quite disappointed. I should first say that my girlfriend and I showed up an hour before closing on a Sunday night. There was only one other couple in the restaurant. The waitress was VERY friendly and sweet. Quickly came to our table and got our drinks and order. We noticed that they were already packing up like the staff was ready to leave an hour before closing. Food came in a decent amount of time, but I was disappointed to hear that the garlic rolls (or whatever they are called) are no longer complimentary... :( Times are tough I suppose.... Anyway, my date's pizza was ready before the spaghetti I ordered. The waitress brought the pizza 5-6 minutes before she brought my spaghetti... That's sort of odd i thought. The pizza was hot and pretty good... Although I think Rudino's is better.... Anyway, when my spaghetti arrived it was only warm...Not hot. I was pretty hungry so I didn't say anything. I will say that the spaghetti was pretty good...but not anything to write home about. Well my biggest turn off was that we were rushed out of there. And although the staff was friendly, my date and I could barely hear one another talk as the staff moved tables and put chairs up on top of the tables. It was EXTREMELY loud in there and obviously quite rude to the two remaining patrons...Still before closing time I might add... Then they started sweeping around us. We quickly ate and ended up leaving. My food was cold well before I was finished anyway.
So in short, I'm not sure if I'll return. They do have a good reputation for good food, and the staff was friendly, but I was really turned off by how we were rushed out of there....

Provided by YP.comFantastic service, fantastic food. Pizza crust is excellent. Penne with sausage and creamy tomato sauce is delicious. Adults and Kids were pleased with the good food. We wish we had 'room' for dessert. Next time.
