My primary focus in the office is patient improvement. If a patient is not improving then we are not providing the right treatment and/or he is at the wrong professional's office. It is my personal policy that if a patient is not 50% better by the end of 2 weeks or 6 visits, then we develop a new plan or refer to another healthcare provider. I provide a unique combination of low force chiropractic techniques, using a technique called Atlas Orthogonality as a primary tool and Activator Methods as a secondary. There two aspects of the spinal structure and support that chiropractors must take into account in treating patients, but unfortunately, not all of them do. That is the structure (skeleton) and the central control over the body (the brain). The body has a structure which has as its base, two feet. This is what most other chiropractors focus on, the structure from the foundation up. And there is nothing wrong with that, but the brain dictates to the rest of the body what to do when and how to do it. The structure is affected by the brain's righting mechanism, which tries to maintain balance by keeping the head directly over the base of the skeletal structure (the point equidistant between the two feet) and upright (eyes level with the horizon). The Atlas Orthogonal program finds and corrects problems associated with the upper cervical portion of the structure as it relates directly to how the head articulates with the spine. The Activator Methods program is an ideal adjunct procedure for treating problems associated with the structure itself, when the upper cervical part of the spine is correct and holding its proper position, but the rest of the spine is problematic.
