I hired A+ to make my life easier and they just made it 10x worse. To make it short and sweet, they:



- Stole my fiance's watch.

- Stole his expensive digital camera.

- Broke my dresser then told me I did it.

- Got green paint on my couch then told me "it was like that" (since I have ever used/owned anything that contained green paint).

- Made me cry (I'm not a "crier" but with all the stress of moving and then being yelled at by strangers that I was PAYING I got upset).



The best part is, they're covered. They can't be held accountable. The contract you work out on the phone beforehand holds them unaccountable for ANYTHING.



If you're going to use A+, I recommend making sure all your stuff is packed beforehand and FULLY sealed so they can't steal it. Also, watch the way they pack the truck so nothing important is being squashed by heavy things, and make sure they 100% wrap all of your upholstery.



Worst moving experience ever. Next time I'm bribing my friends with pizza and beer.

This is the WORST company I have ever used! Ken and Rick came to my house, raised my bill by more than double and did not wrap any of my items. I did not have even close to the experience the other reviewer had. I had the complete opposite which makes me wonder if it was even real. They were so rude to me and my son and had nothing but an attitude with me from the moment they called and said they were on their way.



It was like they had been fighting before they got to my home, the tension was so thick in the air. They left several scratches on my brand new furniture because nothing was wrapped and the also gouged my brand new hard wood floor. A 6 inch gouge! Our home is brand new nobody else has ever lived in it and now my floor it ruined. It's the first thing you see when you walk in the living room.



When I confronted Ken with this he stated that he was in fact the owner and that my floor would not be covered. He said it was my job to protect it. Are you kidding me? When I pointed out the scratches he told me that was just part of moving and that I should be thankful that nothing got broke. Unreal. I call the office and nobody answer guess I know why.



My husband and I attempted to got to their "office" which turns out to be a their mobile home. So, not only did I pay $256.00 more than I was quoted but my furniture is all scratched up and my floor is ruined. I am filing a lawsuit against A+ movers and I urge everyone to stay away from this company!

I was quite nervous about this move. I had a number of very heavy items some quite old and some quite valuable. Ken put me right at ease from the beginning. He was very professional and after watching them move the first few pieces I began to relax completely...these guys truely knew what they were doing.



I wanted to use only one truck when truthfully two would have been better. However, Ken said that it would be tight but he would do his best. This guy is incredible when it comes to packing!!! I told him he could have won a packing contest.



"Above and beyond the call" should be their motto. They not only moved us in a timely manner but offered to help us get some other items in our truck...I didn't ask, they offered. They worked hard for 8 hours always keeping a pleasant attitude.



Aside from the professional way this move was conducted it was also done in a friendly, easy helpful manner further putting me at ease.



After spending this much time with these two I actually missed them after they left. They managed to turn a potentionally unpleasant situation into a fun day...at least for me. A WONDERFUL "MOVING" EXPERIENCE!!!

A+ was HORRIBLE. They damaged about $2K worth of furniture!



Also, they were completely incommunicative about what the price quoted covered. The crew leader showed up and raised my bill over $200 after I was quoted a "flat rate". I should have walked them out my door then.



They damaged 3 pieces of furniture (a limo bed from BoConcept, a futon bed and a chair), in addition to completely destroyed my vintage Danish 1960's coffee table for which I paid almost $800. The coffee table was damaged so badly that it's not possible to repair. With my bed, their movers had not properly disassembled parts of the bed, which led to the damage.



I called the office to report my damage and see what I needed to do to file an insurance claim.Insurance? What insurance? When I called I was told they only had to pay out $0.60 per pound. That's about $120 max. Are you kidding me!. There were documents that they referenced in the claim that I did not get or see at all, other documents were given to me to sign on moving day (when everything is completely chaotic), and yet I didn't even get a copy of it from the movers.



They act as if it's my fault they showed up to my house, forced me to pay more and then broke my furniture. Unbelievable

These movers were by far the best movers I have ever had. I am so happy with the price and professionalism. They removed my stove top , oven and subzero refrigerator out of the wall and re installed them. Talk about fast , these guys know what they are doing! Thank you guys! You mad my move fast, easy and affordable!!!!

I really appreciate them taking me in the last minute. My friend referred them to me and they showed up on time and were very professional. I would definetly recommened a+ movers!!

I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH! THEY WERE HOURS LATE AND THEY OVER CHARGED ME.. THEY WOULD NOT GIVE ME MY BELONGINGS UNTIL I PAID THEM! THEY WANTED TO HOLD MY STUFF HOSTAGE! I AM A SINGLE MOTHER AND I WOULD HATE FOR THIS TO HAPPEN TO ANY ONE ELSE! THE KIDS THAT MOVED MY FURNITURE WERE NOT GENTLE AND THEY HAD NO COMPASSION! PEASE BE CAREFUL WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!
