The store smells horribly of fish comparable only to the Fox River on a hot humid day when the water is low. The fruit is so moldy you could use it as an antibiotic. (especially, but not limited to the oranges) The bananas are either green or black. Frozen foods show signs of having been thawed and then refrozen. This is becomes far more obvious during the summer months if you are buying frozen yogurt. I have tried several different times to purchase strawberries there, at different times of the year and again was struck by mold. The peaches are equally moldy and rock hard (unless they are badly bruised) either way they are completely inedible. The green peppers are generally male and tough and tasteless. The meat department is nearly impossible to go into due to the over powering smell of rotten fish but when I've made a lunge at it I found they are often out of the cut of meats I am looking for. I am about 4 blocks close to Copps than Festival Foods... Time for change.

One must remember, Festival Fo...

One must remember, Festival Foods, Mr. Cinders, Wisconsin Street Diner are all close by so going to COPPs and waiting 48 minutes with no other customers around for broasted chicken as I did yesterday, is stupidity. And The staff is always complaining that they are overworked and that they are not given any help when they are busy. I saw only two people work like slaves, char and the deli manager. I also noted that they would even forget to put gloves on their hands when serving food as they did not have time to grab them. I think the deli manager, a blonde lady, served me with no gloves on; Some would say this is unprofessional, i'm not sure. I am just tired of nasty comments made in the checkouts of the smell being rancid from the chicken. Just so it is clear, I arrived at a time when no other customers were around and waited seven minutes before anyone recognized I was there. I was then told I would need to wait until they were finished with what they were working on before chicken could get dropped. The twenty fifth time I have had to wait longer than 10 minutes for chicken at this Copps.
