Great destination beach in Aptos that isn't too crowded, and pier walk by the cement ship is fun local attraction.

This is our favorite campground. You camp on pavement, less than 10 feet from the sand and beach. The 26 hook-up sites are hard to reserve (7 months in advance), but the 'B' lot overflow area is also great with wide sites also 10 feet from the sand. 21 overflow sites in B lot 10 of which are on the reservation system. The others are available through a lottery every day at noon. No hookups in the overflow area but bathrooms and showers are close.
