$1,100 later, bigger problems then I started with, called him back to honor the "guarantee" and was told he was in San Antonio to get help, have never heard from him again, next time, ill just buy a new car.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AN HONEST MECHANIC LOOK NO FURTHER. It's hard to find good people that will shoot you straight nowadays. I had my car towed to John's when it stopped running all of a sudden. Being that I was from out of town I was pretty sure I was going to get hosed. But what I found was John (Veteran by the way) who was quick, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. He knew I was in a hurry to get it fixed and easily could of used the problem I had, out of gas because gas gauge was off, to hose me for $800-$1000. Instead what does he do... Tells me what the actually problem is how I can get by until I want to shell out the $600 for the part and how to change it myself to save me some money. FOLKS THIS IS WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE SHOULD LOOK LIKE. Now that my company has opened an office on Corpus I will be going to John for anything I need the guy is the best.

If you want a honest, respectful mechanic call john! Treats you right and was great from the get go, I rarely write reviews, but after my experience with johns transmission and other mechanics there is no other place I will go. 5* all the way!
