This place is a Treasure Trove!!! Buzz the owner is very knowledgeable and friendly..he was super patient with us and we walked away with 2 huge bags of hand sized sand dollars, starfish, and shells, as well as one VERY RARE SHELL I HAD BEEN SEEKING! FOR $100!!! WHAT A STEAL! THE SINGLE SHELL WAS WORTH $100 ALONE!!! THANK U Buzz for Everything ♡

This is one of the best seashell shops in the United States. Great stop for the kids to learn and see different seashells that you will not find in other tourist shops. The owner was nice and took care of us while in the shop.

My family and I enjoyed our trip to Shell World. It is NOT the stereotypical tourist shop, with all the glimmer and shine. Instead, it is a shell lovers delight! The husband and wife who own the place are down to earth folk. He has a lot of sea shell knowledge and enjoys sharing it with you, if you just ask. Our little seven year old really enjoyed herself, and came away with some special treasures. In addition, she was given a fun keepsake on top of her purchase that the owner gifted to her when her parent was checking out! Shell World was a fun stop on the way to our beach trip; we would recommend you to discover it for yourself.

We had a wonderful experience at Shell World of Texas. The owner displayed excellent customer service and is very knowledgeable about his merchandise. In addition, he is very friendly, courteous, and helpful. He was especially kind and generous to our young daughter. She loves her treasures from Shell World. We will definitely visit again!
