Established in 1931, Kare Youth League is an independent organization that offers sports activities, such as basketball, volleyball, football, soccer and cheerleading for youths. It organizes summer and winter camps and holiday parties and offers educational enrichment programs. The organization conducts outings, trips and tours throughout the world. Kare Youth League employs trained instructors and professionals who work with children to offer training and assistance services. The organization operates the Rio Hondo Leadership Academy, which provides training opportunities for college students. It also serves various junior and senior high schools in the United States. Kare Youth League offers financial assistance for depositing registration fees through grants received from Amateur Athletic Foundation of Los Angeles.
