I came to Rub'e for only one reason initially, because Alisa King was working there. She is the best tattoo artist that I know and I would follow her anywhere, but now that she is at Rube's I don't feel like I am following her anymore. I feel like I am home. Everyone at the shop is nice and helpful and judging by the other work I saw going on while Alisa was working on me, all of the artists are really good. I would have no problem having another one there do some work for me if Alisa could not for some reason.



There is another review that claims it is overpriced.. however I have to say, you get what you pay for and for my money, Rube's is a great if you want a really awesome tattoo.

The one review on Rubes is all wrong since that was almost 3 years ago. That person he mention is no longer there. I was sceptical at first after reading the review on here but notice how old it was. Tuesday, March 29, 2011, I went to 3 other tattoo shops all giving me their prices, which was way too high for what I wanted. I decided to go to Rubes and the price they gave me was perfect. Maya was very nice and professional as everyone there was. She did what I wanted and informed me what she could and could not do to cover up an old tattoo with the new one. It came out perfect and I will not hesitate to go back again to get more work done. I would recommend them to anyone. Each person is going to have their own opinion whether it is negative or positive. The only opinion you should trust is your own decision.

I JUST WANT TO TELL EVERYONE THAT RUBE'S IS SO FREAKING OVER PRICED THAT IT IS NOT FUNNY, ESPECIALLY WHEN ONE ARTIST TELLS YOU ONE PRICED AND ONCE THEY ARE DONE WITH YOUR WORK ANOTHER ARTIST COMES TO CHARGE YOU ANOTHER HIGHER PRICED. THE REASON WHY IT IS SO OVER PRICED IS NOT ONLY MY OPINION BUT I HAVE FOUND OUT OF OTHER PEOPLE I KNOW OF THAT HAVE GONE HERE TO GET SOMETHING SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SIMPLE AND SOOOOOOOOOOOO PLAIN AND THEY UP PAYING OVER 100 FOR SOMETHING THAT IS NOT EVEN WORTH NO MORE THAN 50 AT OTHER TATTOO PARLORS. I REGRET COMING HERE TO GET MY SECOND TATTOO DONE SIMPLY BECAUSE THE TATTOO I GOT DONE TURNS OUT TO BE THAT I GOT JACKED OUT OF MY POCKET ATLEAST 60 EXTRA BUCKS. NEXT TIME GO CHECK OUT OTHER TATTOO PARLORS BECAUSE THEY WILL DO THE RIGHT JOB FOR THE RIGHT PRICE.
