Often times Pho Hoang is the m...

Often times Pho Hoang is the most packed place you could walk to in Arcata, when hungry for some tasty soup. But once you get in, it is one of the most delicious experiences you will have. You get great service and affordable prices that you don't see too often anymore, these days. Now, you might complain and say paying $10.75 total for a bowl of soup is much too much, but consider that that $10.75 covered: a mass of rice noodles, seafood, chicken, tasty, tasty broth, and wonderful additions like lime, jalapeno, Thai basil, and crunchy bean sprouts. The warmth it brings deep down in your soul will bring you clamoring back for more!

Awful awful awful. Wait staff...

Awful awful awful. Wait staff was completely overwhelmed and food was disgusting. In our party of two, we ordered three items. My lemongrass chicken dinner was the first plate to arrive. Twenty minutes later, the appetizer we ordered arrived, but my girlfriend's dinner was still no where to be seen. So my girlfriend just treated the appetizer as her dinner and I ate my by-then cold chicken. As we were getting up to leave 30 minutes after that, my girlfriend's dinner arrived. The place is extremely noisey, chaotic, I for some odd reason you're looking to get angry and grossed out, spend your money at Pho Hoang. Otherwise, save yourself what will be the worse dining experience of your life. Seriously. I give this place six months until they close.
