I have a loved one who is a client, and it has taken forever to get an adequate caregiver on Sundays, which is very frustrating. And if you express your frustrations the managers nor their managers will assist you. The managers can be rude and condescending, extremely unprofessional. They finally sent a caregiver a week ago, on Sunday, who was very experienced with patients like my love one. I asked to keep that caregiver on Sundays, and they told me she doesn’t work Sundays per her schedule request. The caregiver changed her schedule so she could work with my love one, and they still wouldn’t allow her to work for them, because they had someone else they wanted to place with my love one. They had no regards or concerns about my love one or me. The person they had in mind requested to be off the first day they were supposed to start the assignment, which is getting off to a bad start, so I refused them. The head manager said she would call me back with a replacement on Friday and I never heard back from her. Today is Wednesday and still nothing. Abcor has sent several inadequate caregivers to my home, and when I finally found a caregiver I feel is adequate they wouldn’t assign her. I’ve spoken to Human Resources and managers to express my concerns with no success. If you don’t take what they give you, then you get nothing. Your sick love one is left hanging and they don’t care.

I recently had the opportunity to work with the Abcor team, and I found them to be extremely helpful and professional. I would definitely work with them again, and more importantly, I'd trust them to care for my loved ones if their services were ever needed.
