I purchased my Mason and Hamlin Model A from Dan at Heavenly Pianos. I needed it shipped 2000 miles away. Dan handled every detail of the transaction. I couldn't be more pleased. Communication was excellent. This will probably be my last piano, but if I'm ever in the market again, I'm going to look up Dan at Heavenly Pianos.

We bought an upright Kawaii from Bob in Winnetka about 8 weeks ago. Bob was great. He was knowledgeable about their inventory and beyond patient with my endless questions and multiple visits. He didn't try to over sell us or under sell us. He truly wanted to understand our family and needs in order to set us up with the perfect piano. In the end he made the process painless and we walked away with a beautiful piano at a great price. Mark came for our complementary tuning and did an amazing job. The piano sounds wonderful. We couldn't have been more pleased with our purchase.

I called this store to get info on selling my piano. I was told that 'Dan' would call me back. One month later, I called again and was told that 'he's not good about calling people'. I told the woman I spoke with this time that I would like to get some info about how to go about selling my piano. Again, she would forward the info to 'Dan'. Needless to say, I never heard from him. I'd say if 'Dan' is too busy to call someone back, 'Dan' shouldn't be in a business that IS customer service. I will never recommend this store to anyone.

I had my daughter purchase a used piano and began giving my grandchildren lessons as they each started school. Six years later, with three of four kids taking lessons, I decided that it was time for Grrrandma to purchase a used piano for when they come to visit me. (They live out-of-state.)I went to Heavenly Pianos and explained to Jim, the sales manager, what I thought my needs were and the approximate amount I wanted to spend. Jim showed me used pianos from the bottom to the top of my price range, played them all for me and answered the questions I had before I even asked them. There was absolutely no pressure to purchase, but rather concern to fill my needs. No "used car salesman" tactics here. I left there with all the information on three pianos that I might be interested in. I called back a few hours later and asked Jim to hold the one I decided on. I returned the next day to find a sold sign on "my piano" and completed the transaction. One of the owners, Dan, personally
