From the front desk, to the technicians, the doctors and the optical shop everyone was attentive, caring and sooooo nice! Thanks for taking such good care of my mom and I we'll be back next summer!!

I saw Dr. Wolin's partner re getting surgery done. This doctor was courteous at first, but when he found that I was not a candidate for the surgery, he became impatient with me. I found him rude . His demeanor was unprofessional and unpleasant. I'd requested the appointment with Dr. Wolin because he was recommended to me, but was given this man. The most offensive part of this visit was when I filled out my personal information and handed it to a staff behind the desk. She left my info out in the open and a male patient hovering by the desk started to read it. I grabbed my paperpwork and told the lady to move it. She couldn't understand why my concern for keeping my private info private. I wouldn't visit this office again if all services were for free!!!

I brought my father in for treatment after he had cataract surgery. The way he was treated brought tears to my eyes. He was inconsiderate, showed no compassion and made my father feel like he was stupid. He is an 80 year old man and he yelled at him for falling asleep in the chair and also for rubbing his eye. He treated him like a child. Within two days we spent over 300 dollars on persriptions and when I asked him for a sample he told us he was not a pharmacist and asked if we collect samples. Overall, a terrible experience.

In April of 2008 my mother suffered a stroke 2 days after Dr. Wolin performed cataract surgery on her! He told her to go off her Coumadin (a blood thinner)for a 5 day period prior to the surgery. This negated his already negligible risk of her bleeding when he used an anesthetic injected by needle. But it also allowed her blood to thicken in those 5 days to the point where she stroked a matter of hours after the surgery was over. Mom's cardiologists concedes it was "a mistake" and that going off the Coumadin "precipitated the stroke". Cataract surgery should be a "bloodless surgery"! Unless you want to chance becoming an invalid, DO NOT GO OFF YOUR COUMADIN! Find a surgeon who will use topical (drops) anesthesia. "Brain and heart before all else"! Do not risk your brain to save an eye! To top it off, he has a rude office staff, they treat you like cattle at the surgical center, and Dr. Wolin himself is an egomaniac. I'm hoping the next time I see him will be in a courtroom!
