Yen Yen is good if you like the taste of vomit. The food looks and smells horrible it looks like something the cat threw up . The waiter Dan is a real jerk and he insulted me to my face with a very rude comment. I should of reminded him that the customer is always right. But I was too polite and walked away. Also I was feeling very sick from the food. There were no fortune cookies and the bathrooms are filthy Do not go here if you can help it your stomach will regret it and so will your wallet because everything is overpriced !!!

I started going to Yen Yen in the 80's. It had superb food, and generous portions. Prices were always a bit high, but because the quality was so good, it was more than worth it. It seems that once Yen Yen opened their 2nd location, the quality at the A.H. Rd location dropped dramatically. Maybe it's a different cook or they pre-cook some of their food, I don't know. But, the last 3 times I ate their food I was very disappointed. Once, the egg foo young was burnt and was unpalatable. Another time the shrimp with lobster sauce had so few shrimps, it was a joke. The last time was eat in and the food was bland, very little flavor. Sorry Yen Yen, since you opened your second restaurant, your quality at the Arlington Hts Rd location got worse and worse.

This is one place I never leave dissatisfied with the friendly service, always hot and fresh food, always cooked to order/customized, always a good value for the price!

They always get the order right and the food is really good.
